That question is way too easy.

Clinton fired ALL of them. At once.

Oh, but Hillary said that that case was different than firing 8 of them because they were starting with a "clean slate" as she put it when asked about her husband dumping all of them.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget that Jimmy Carter once fired a US attorney when asked to do so by a representive who was under investigation by that US attorney. Clinton fired the attorney who was investigating Dan Rostenkowski. Of course, Rosti was dirty anyway, found guilty, then pardoned by Slick Willie.

But we don't want to get into what Dems have done with US Attorneys. That would focus away from Bush bashing.

He fired all of them. The difference is he is clinton, so in the dims (liberal) mind set it is okay.

Basically here is the deal, clinton did every political move Bush has done. The difference is, clinton had an opposition party that was not crying about it because they knew one day they would be in office.

President Bush on the other hand, has to deal with a bunch of whiny little babies, if he looks out the window someone will claim that he is visually controlling the sun so we get less sun or something ridiculous. Remember, he is the only President to date (according to dems.) that can control earthquakes, hurricanes, stock markets, oil prices, tsunamis, rain, snow, sleet, fires, tornadoes, babies crying, media, world markets, disease, vaccinations, and a host of other things. Basically since time begin we have not been able to blame anyone for disasters until President Bush came along, we found the culprit of all. The funny thing is, dims also claim he is not so smart, yet he controls all, even while he is on vacation.

Both Clinton and Bush replaced attorneys when they took office, this is about firing prosecutors who are investigating alleged corruption.

Mass firings of U.S. attorneys are fairly common when a new president takes office.
Presidents Reagan and Clinton immediately dismissed all 93
US attorneys when they came to office.
When President George W. Bush took office in 2001, he received the resignations from 91 of 93 sitting U.S. attorneys.

In recent memory, during the Reagan and Clinton Administrations, Presidents Reagan and Clinton did not seek to remove and replace U.S. Attorneys to serve indefinitely under the holdover provision.

Say What(above)
--Clinton replaced U.S. Attorneys at the beginning of his first term, not when being hounded into "Show Trials".
He also testified under oath to Congress, as did his aides. He was not afraid, although he did lie about an extra-marital affair regrettably. But look at Monica...wouldn't most men have denied that?

About just as many as Reagan and Bush Jr did. The difference is that Bush fired 8 more much later into his term because of political reasons.

I am shocked that anyone would question a democrat firing any amount of non-demoocrat attorneys. Considering that the democrats represent dumb rich liberal white people, rich black people screwing the poor black males and all the illegal immigrants, I find it extremely racist for anyone to disagree with them. Get real, liberal and conservative women should open their legs wide to illegals from south of the border and say "here you go honey, thanks for the cheap clothes"./

Of course when Clinton did it, it was at the beginning of his term (just like the big group that Bush did at that beginning of his term) and a whoelsale change.......

As opposed to the Bush SECOND WAVE of firings that were targeted firings directed at those attorneys that had been prosecuting republicans.....

Big difference huh?

And by the way.....how come people withing the administration are lying about their presence at meetings about this (as documents show) if these firings were just the normal course of things???

This stinks...and you know it...

Clinton fired all of them, including several who were investigating DEMOCRATS who were accused of crimes like Dan Rostenkowski. Then he rescinded the firing of Michael Chirtoff. One of the attorneys that President Bush fired was the subject of several complaints from Senator Diane Feinstein, THE VERY SAME LIBERAL IDIOT WHO'S NOW CRITICISING PRESIDENT BUSH FOR FIRING HER!!

How do these disengenuous democrats even look at themselves in a mirror? They are the most disgusting creeps on the face of the Earth.

It's not about firings, it's about the reasons for the firings.

If a republican or democrat fired US atts because they were investigating allegations of criminal activity that would reflect badly on the administration, I don't care if they are Republican or Democrat, wrong is wrong, tesifying under oath is good enough for the republicans when THEY called for it, it's good enough when THEY get the call!

It's about law, it's about ethics, it's about integrity, not the hypocracy that we have lived with under the current admin.

bush is the best player on the TEAM DEMOCRAT, ask any republican running for office!
