I'm 32. Since August last year I haven't had a single period, I have had a bit of spotting, but nothing much. For 7 or 8 months prior to August, my periods were much lighter than normal and were further apart than my normal cycle. I know for a certainty that I'm not pregnant, I did have what I can only describe as "hot flushes" where I'd get a really hot feeling up my back and my face would visibly flush, I thought I was getting "sympathetic" symptoms as my mum was going through the menopause at the time. I just wonder what could be wrong. I HAVE already made an appointment to see my gp on Monday morning.

Another possibility for this is possible hormone imbalance. Your GP will help you try to figure out what is going on.

The symptoms you mention are actually symptoms of the Menopause, although you are a bit young to be going through it. Talk to your mother & see what she says about it, and when she started, what age etc. so you get a better idea of whether you are gOing through it or not.
Congrats, though.

Hi, I am glad you have made an appointment to see your doctor, it sounds very much like you are going through the menopause yourself, you are young to be going through this but it has been known for women of your age to be going through the menopause. Good Luck to you.

if you are on the contraceptive pill and changed the brand around that time or started taking them it could well be that.
