Hi i am in seventh grade and ever since i was little my teachers always complained about my handwritting they say they can't read it one bit. I have no trouble reading my writting. They had me take occupational therapy and that didn't help. So then they just came to conclution that there is nothing wrong and i do it on purpose. I don't and i try hard to make it legible and plus my writting gives me bad grades so why would i do it on purpose. Help me!!!

Practice is the only thing that will make you better. Go back to the primary "workbooks" that teach handwriting. You can get them at any teacher supply store. It's probably not practical to type every assignment, so you're just going to have to type what you can, and do your best on the rest.

As neatly as you can, write the alphabet and numbers 0 - 9. Then try to improve each one (practice them over and over again). After about a month, write the alphabet and numbers 0 - 9 again and see if you have improved.

Tell your teacher this idea and show them the old and new version. That way, you can show everyone if you can really improve or not. If not, then they will see and get off your back (hopefully).

In the meantime, type things. Good luck!

why not try to start back at the basics. start off practicing each letter singly through the alphabet and then, carefully take time to do it right, join the letters up. fist in small words then longer ones. have patience, pratice a bit each day and your handwriting should improve! good luck

well try to write in print instead of script that usually is more legible.. and if they have a problem with this then type things up. it'll be easier for them to understand

I agree with Treix, but if it's still an ongoing problem, maybe you should just type it up. =)
