Maybe the reason you break out with the powdered makeup is because you might be allergic to it.

Nobody has perfect skin! But ya you should be washing your face before you put on cover-up, powders, blush but also what ppl dont know it that when you were cover-up you need too pick your shade and then cover the spots or dicoulored areas in your face too balance out your skin tone! You shouldnt be using cover-up as a mask you should only be useing it to inhanse you skin tone! a little under your eyes and on your cheaks and a dabe on your forhead. to much can make ur skin dry and itchi and sweat. and clean hands are better then a sponge used 20 times! and doesnt go on as thick! good luck!

well it may be because u have an allergic reaction to it, or its because u don't wash your face before u used it(that's what happens to me). just make sure u SCRUB your face(if it becomes alittle red it will go away) before you use your foundation. also you may want to u a cream to under the powder(it will help the powder to stay on longer). and if you wash ur face every night before you go to bed that will help too. i use a face wash called witch hazel(can be found at health food stores)i get mine at morning glory.

It is because your skin is dry. You need to moisturize before putting on any makeup and make sure you keep your face clean.

THIS IS BECAUSE U NEED TO WASH THE FACE, THEN LET IT DRY, ADD A SPECIALL MOISTERIZER WITH SPF, LET THAT SIT FOR 6 MINUTS BEFORE APPLYING THE POWDERED FOUNDATION..."A CLEAN CANVAS IS KEY"
AND USE IN MODERATION

it is clogging your pores. cleanse face w/ an anti-acne cleanser, lotion, and then apply foundation. What kind are you using? that might be the problem too.
my face wash is called acnefree. it's in CVS, and it's better than proactiv. it's the same price, though. $20.
