I'd like a few people's inputs on this (touchy) subject:

1. For those of you alive when this happened: What do you remember seeing on TV? What were your reactions? (FYI: I was very young when this happened, so I don't really remember the incident.)
2. What were some of the motives of the shooters? (Please try to be specific. I have heard and read several different ones.) What (or whom) do you personally blame?
3. How did they manage to get the guns into the school? (Or, more specifically, were there any metal detectors?)
4. What were some measures taken by the government and various schools after this incident? Do you think they are doing enough, or is bullying still a major problem in public schools? (I go to a Catholic School, and we have very few- if any- bullying problems.)
5. How do you personally think that this incident could have been prevented?

-Thanks in advance.

1. i was in 3rd grade, but yeah i remember seeing it on tv
2. apparently the shooters were bullied. so many people are to blame. the school for not stopping the bullies, the parents for not hiding thier guns from the kids.
3. they wore large black overcoats, i think they also planted smoke bombs in the caf., but im not sure about that.
4. after this, schools actually went overboard. they became overesensitive to everything, there was one case of a girl getting suspended for susposedly praciticing witchcraft.

but in bulling, i think schools now are more aware, but still many schools dont do much.

5. this tradgedy couldve been prevented by the school taking action against the bullies, and the parents putting the kids in counseling.

Yes i remember seeing this all on T.V.And it was the worst thing that happend, I felt soo sorry for the kids and for the parents and teachers who all were involved, But however if i was on the jury i feel that the parents should of been investigated because I blame the parents for letting their child walk out the door with a trench coat and not observing them the way they are dressed, and dont have no clue that they have weapons on them, You knows how dum is that, I also blame the parents for letting their kids to go on the way they went on before they got into trouble, This was about 4 teens who thought they can get away with murder and thought by expressing themselves just because they hated school, they could commit a crime, a crime that should not had to happen, and yes it could of been prevented, If the school had the right people the right authority and the right politicians, But i also blame this all on the education dept , not say iam for the kids or against them, I know what they did was wrong, butI Graduated in 1983, and that there was no trouble like that in our school, whats soo ever, But as God as my witness and i was on the jury, I would pursway to all the jurers and the judge and the parents, to automattically sent their kid to the Army, if they think its funny to shoot a gun, Because obviously, the parents thought thats ok, need i go on

Despite what the alarmists within the media attempted to exhibit, there used to be no relation to Columbine and video video games, allow by myself Doom. First of all, Doom used to be already 7 years historical while Columbine happened - that is historical for a online game. Second, Harris and Klebold did not fairly play any video video games - no longer even Doom. They have been obviously disturbed however you can not blame their movements on video video games. Otherwise, we might had been having a "Columbine" sort occasion daily for close to the beyond 30 years.
