NO Six Flags parks are closing; some just got sold and will continue to operate under new management.

There were 7 Six Flags that have closed. This doesn't mean all of them!! Will it close in 10 years? It depends if they fix the parks, or not.

Several of them are closing. However, when most people post this question they are referring to 6 Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA, which was rumored to be closing as it sits on some of the most valuable real estate around. They have decided not to close that park.

Mr Monopoly. In order to end up triumphant and strong in existence.. you need to grasp the artwork of coattail browsing off the coattails of folks who possess EVERYTHING. If the six flags man was once a truly character... he'd be booted from Six Flags by means of safeguard for being this sort of spaz .

Some of the parks are closing. Unfortunately, the new management is running the company into the ground with their terrible marketing decisions. The chain as a whole won't close anytime soon though.

If you are talking about Six Flags Magic Mountain, in LA, then no, its not going to close. The owners of it just sold to another person. But if they ever DO close SF MM down, I am going to mental help big time.

PS: The person who bought it, paid about $5million, IN CASH! Wow....that STILL amazes me.
