They say that you should feel roughly ten movements.
Thru my pregnancy I found that to be a load of ..well...not true anyways.
Every pregnancy is different. You should know by now the movements of your baby.
Sometimes they will move more and sometimes less.
Sometimes as your due date approaches the movements can decrease as the baby gets into position.
No matter what though if there is anything that is making you uneasy, go to your doctor.
It's always better to be safe than sorry and during pregnancy...there is no such thing as asking a foolish question of feeling foolish.
Be well.

My Dr. recommended laying down for an hour after dinner and counting each movement. After 3 days get an average. I did this (almost) every night for the last 2mths. If the baby moved less than 1/2 of what was average, I was to call the Dr. right away.

You should feel 10 an hour. If not drink some juice or eat something sweet. If you have been laying down get up and walk around, or if you have been up alot lay down. If you can't get 10 movements call the hospital or go in.

You should feel at least 5-10 an hour. If you don't drink a full glass of really cold water then lay on your right side. If you don't feel something in 1-2 minutes call the doc.

Hi I think it depends on the baby.
I remember when my boss was preg w/ twins, she had one that was moving all the time & the other was lazy & didn't move--the docs were worried-but it turned out to be nothing because now she was one SUPER SUPER energetic 4 yr old & one who is "ah" whatever sort of attitude, a little more lethergic & just more laid back.
Plus another of my friends just gave birth & her's wouldn't move so much during the day at all,but become quite bouncy at night! Usually he "woke up" on her train ride home out of the city.
Now his personality is wide awake at night--a real night owl & super sleepy in the day.
So I wouldnt' worry about it as they sleep too!

i am gonna kinda disagree w/ everyone elses answer. if you are at 35wks room in your belly is getting very limited...so if you dont feel as much movement as 2 months ago that is understandable. as long as throughout the day you are feeling movement everything should be fine. you also have to trust your instinct if any doubt call your doctor.

about ten, but if you don't just give them a little tap on your belly or turn on some music to get some movement.
