Say it was possible to just be in your spacesite in outer space how close could you get to the sun without dying?

Not sure it is possible to answer this question precisely, but it would definitely be more than a few million miles. If I had to make a guestimate I would say between 15-25 million miles.

i would say till the first planet in the solar system (Mercury), maybe a little bit closer. the sun is only 93 million (give or take) miles away from earth.

How far to the sun with out dying,you can know by knowing how hot your spaceship is or if your felling hot.

depends on the suit design purposes, but probably not closer than Mercury is
