I would like to find a site that is pretty detailed. One that will show how to strum(up, down, and the pattern) and any hints for playing. A lot of sites I have looked at only show strings and frets, is there anything out there that is more detailed? I like to play rock and country rock.

www.guitarmasta.com is good for you too.
But i really just use my ears.
ultimate-guitar.com has even songs from cartoons and tv shows. Any music style you want.

www.ultimate-guitar.com is the one i use. it has lessons and cool stuff to read. i recommend downloading power tab because you can download power tabs and guitar pro tabs there. they also have forums where you can talk to other guitarists. i usually just use the forums to ask repair questions. its a really good site. hope that helped. :)
