How can she stop someone 21 years old? are you still living at home? You want her to pay for the trip because you don't have a job and are living off your mothers money?
I mean at 21 I had been on my own for a long time and my mother didn't even know what I was doing.
Did you go to a four year college so that you are still home then until you graduate and get a job and a house of your own bite a bullet. thank God you have someone to help you through school. If your just staying home living off your mother than get a job.

I don't know what your culture is but I'm guessing you still live at home. Does or is your father living at home? If you can convince him you won't have to worry about your mom. Dad's usually the boss. If you don't live at home I wouldn't worry about going. The only other thing is to give her the reasons why she should trust you and not to forget that this is a different time than when she grew up and a different country.

Why are you 21 still living with mom? I'm not judging just asking. Maybe you're in college or something, but 21 is a pretty good age to make you're own decisions if you are fronting the bill. Just try to talk to her, but if you're mom has the last word there's not much you can do.

Just go.
If you have the money than go for it.
You're 21 years old.
That's old enough to drink, drive, and vote.
You're an adult.
You can do adult things without your mommy telling you to.

considering that ur 21, you can go anyway, but if you are under her rules (living in her house, staying for free) then you have to try to calmly explain that you respect her wishes, and that you respect her advice but you are an adult. even though you will always turn to her for help and advice, you feel that you understannd wat ur doing. tellling her that you are still her little girl, will remind her that your not doing this in spite of her.
hope that helps!!
