I am the ultimate Duke (women) fan and they just lost to the Rutgers. What just happened???

It's hard to say whether either team deserved to win. I am from New Jersey and cannot stand Rutgers nor C. Vivian Stringer, who recruits girls with questionable attitudes and throws her hands up when they get into trouble of fail out. How Rutgers let Duke steal that pass when all they had to do was get the ball in. Then, the alleged ACC player of the year, and this was the best women's conference in the country this year, missed two foul shots. The Duke women are cursed, there's no other way around it.

Did they really???? I don't like Duke at all but this is making me sad. I wanted them in the final four so I could see them beat by UNC. This is almost as bad as MD losing. Did they really lose??? They were number one. I'm going to go cry. Why'd they lose to Rutgers. I can't answer your question.Your question just ruined my day. Thanks.
EDIT: I'm a Terps and Tar Heels fan, I've managed to be both at the same time. I was sad when Maryland lost last week. Now who is UNC going to play, UCONN?? Hopefully Tenessee makes it to the finals so their will be some kind of interesting competition.

They choked again!
The last two NCAA tourneys they lost they just seem to think the win will come because they played hard. You have to TAKE the win. I feel bad for coach G.
Maybe that over confident, cocky attitude that Duke seems to breed sets them up for these falls...

Yes i just hear that. I guess they need more practice at the foul line. I sure hope she wasnt a senior. My roommate was yelling downstairs couldn't figure it out. 71% I guess dreams do happen

they sucked at their free throws
which is BS cause they know how to.
so basically peer pressure
and something came over them.
i dont think they wanted it as much casue they thought they would automatically would win and not have to work for it

Umm...I'm a girl...and I could not care less about Women's basketball.
However, I guess when you're men's team tanks and your football team stinks, women's b-ball is all you've got. so, I guess sorry they lost?
