Buy a big poster for your friend showing Freddie performing with the band, hopefully that will prove it, or even better get a DVD of them when they stole the show back at Live Aid in the 80's.

Just about anyone familiar with Queen would know that.

If you really want to prove him wrong, just tell him to Google 'freddie mercury" ( http://www.google.com/search?q=%22freddie+mercury%22 ) and follow the results one by one. At some point, he'll realize that this is common knowledge.

I agree with you! He would have to be very young or lead a very sheltered life!
Freddie was the best, hell Freddie was Queen, you know they say that he did all the vocals for the band.

I knew that, and loved their music, however, I think you may have to be a certain age, or have parents who were into Queen to know this, you didn't mention how old your friend was?
