Yes it is true. Apparently you are a couple of millimetres taller first thing in the morning due to lying down during the night. However throughout the day you get shorter because of gravitational pull.

Yes this is true, however the affect is very small, you will get about 1cm (1/2 inch) smaller in a day; this is because you spend alot of time upright and gravity pulls our bones closer together (but very slightly).
As you sleep gravity is not squashing you down so the bones recover.

It is.... when you first wake up in the morning, you are at your tallest. Its during the day that gravity is gradually pushing you down and thus reducing your height. Its not like loosing a foot or metre though, we're talking mils if that!
Try it and let us know! :)

Sure you do. During the day, the disks in your spine compress making yourself shorter. Then when you go to sleep you grow more and those disks aren't under any pressure. People get taller because they grow more than they shrink during the day. if your body stopped growing then you will mosty likely get shorter over time

Yes. Inthe morning. you are taller and during the rest of the day you are shorter. Atmospheric pressure cause us to be shorter during the day. It has no effect on height at night because you are sleeping horizontally on your bed.

Yes. You are at your tallest when you wake up. As your day goes on, you lose about an inch due to gravity....As you sleep, you spine acts sorta like a spring and brings you back to your normal heighth

Yes its true, however its due to the compression of the spine, nothing to do with the legs etc,a common example is with drivers who adjust thier inside mirror, first thing in the morning, then change it again in the afternoon and again in the evening, the following morning the driver will adjust it back to its origional position, and so on and so forth.

yeah you are taller after a good nights sleep, and when you go to sleep you are shorter because of all the pressure of the day.
