Why aren't you calling for a nuclear strike against North Korea?

The Iranians see just exactly why Iraq was invaded and North Korea was not - there was no threat of nuclear retaliation. Countries with nuclear weapons don't worry too much about a US invasion. So the lesson is, if you don't want to be invaded, it might not be a bad idea to acquire nuclear weapons.

And remember, Israel has the bomb. Why wouldn't neighboring countries try to develop their own bomb?

The US is the only country in the world to have used atomic weapons. So while you might believe that all our intentions are good and just, the rest of the world is not so sure.

If you're really concerned about the spread of nuclear weapons (especially in the hands of unstable individuals), then you have to push for secular democracy and human rights - not just cheap labor markets and a pipeline for cheap consumer goods.

I am a Liberal and voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980 because wimpy Jimmy Carter would not take action against Iran for holding our citizen's hostages. Instead of putting an end to the Islamic Revolution, Reagan traded military weapons for our hostages. I was so disappointed in Reagan. He was as wimpy as Carter. If Reagan had taken care of Iran in 1981, we would not be dealing with their nutcase leader now!

I do not think we should nuke them, but I am all for a full scale attack on Iran if they do not get their act together soon. If the libs have issue with that, we should deal with them. You know during the Civil War, WW1 and WW2 defeatists that spoke against protecting freedom were punished severely. I think we should punish the defeatists from the left.

That my friend is a very difficult question to answer. I would have to have a lot more information than I have now. We can't conceivably disable their nuclear program with conventional weapons but I would want to try them first and see where the rats ran.

I would not support a nuke attack ever, for any reason.

I would support honest to goodness sanctions, but that is impossible since the UN would be involved.

If they kill the British Sailors or do not give them back, I think they are giving the UK a good reason to kick their butts.

They're stupidity is amazing, they are behaving like they want to be attacked, just to point the finger at the "big bad west". I do not think we should fall for it.

There is no need to even talk about it until Iran actually has nuclear weapons. Until then, any military action should be done with conventional weapons.

If Iran want nuclear I would give it to them, in the form of a BOMB. Then they would want to talk(who ever was left)
No more asking and asking, let the UN talk with them NOT
Just BOMB um. The UN is a waste

1) Yeah. Sure. Let's nuke Iran. See where that idea goes! (*Note sarcasm.)

2) Iran doesn't desire nuclear weapons. That's the Bush propaganda machine at work--as usual.

3) And? Israel deserves what it gets. They've been sucking on our money teat long enough.

Absolutely!!! If I had the time or energy to E-X-P-L-A-I-N the OBVIOUS reasons why this is an absolute must for all the pansy Libs who think they are our friends, I would. But I found this question a little too late in the day. I might come back in a couple of hours and baby talk the 'no war is necessary' crowd!!
