My ex and I broke up about 6 weeks ago after a 5 year relationship. He says he loves me and misses me and I feel the same way about him. I think about him and my heart aches at 28 i have never felt this way about anyone. I realize what went wrong during our relationship and want another chance. He says that this isn't the end of our story and if we were meant to be we will be together. What does all this mean? I just wonder if this is cold feet ( we were getting married in may) or a midlife crisis he will be 40 in a few months. and what i should do to regain his love. When we see each other we can't seem to keep our hands off one another and have even had sex once and he says it was so hard for me to leave he almost called and ask me to come back. but nothing seems to give I want to go home and try again but he says right now we cant go back.

could he be having a relationship with someone else. if he truly loves u, there is no reason why your not there now, but another relationship he is in. he is telling u this, because he doesn't want to burn his bridges with u in case he wants to come back. he almost called u to come back? so what is it that stopped him? think he is cheating on u.

bit confusion
any way it was 5 yrs relationship
so can make a bold move
and tell him how much u loved him
u keep on speak on the phone with him by remembering
sweet memories between u people
and spend time with him
any way ur going to marry and decide that u r living to gether
so u have to take some responsibility and show some love.
love , affection and sex r different
so good luck for ur f future
after all these u can find some real love and difference
between u people
i will tell u one thing
if some one loves u and wants u tht much in that case
to go for them
i.e very lucky to have some loved ones, if those r becoming
life partner what can say anybody
that is life.

i say thay you should give it a try if there wasnt any abuse what do you have to loose an if you feel yhe same way about him give the man another chance it may work out you may get with someone else which will be a waste of time so i say that you should give him a second try wake up

maybe he just wants to have a little more fun before he gets married. i think he may feel like he's going to be missing something. give it some time and he will eventually see he already has what he is looking for. good luck

It seems like you both want to be together, but you haven't said why you broke up. I suspect he did, as you're talking about cold feet.
Talk with him. If you want, be with him. But if he's shying away from marriage now, don't expect him to go for it later.

Sounds like he wants you on a string, that he can pull anytime he likes. If he loved you at all he would respect you enough to leave or stay. not leave you in limbo. You should respect yourself as well.
