I'm an American, is it just me or are most Americans greedy, disgusting, slobs?

I'm also an American and agree with you for the most part. I grew up with my American mother in Germany as "foreigners", but NOT military; many times when in public she and I would speak German only because we were so embarrassed to be associated with the "ugly Americans" (many miltary, but not all). These are the people who insist that the rest of the world speak OUR language, and have no understanding or respect for the reserved and mostly more proper behaviors of other cultures. Not all Americans fit this description any more than any other stereotype, but I can truly see and agree with the disdain that the rest of the world views us "fat, gum-chewing, lazy, war-mongering" Americans.

So agree with you dude! Although, I'm an American too, we really need to stop being lazy,slobs that take over the world's resources!

Yes, I am american as well and I think that people in general suk including americans. I think everyone is out for themselves and what they can get out of someone or something. It's hard to find good people these days anywhere you go, but I'm sure America is probably the worst.

I have known some that are but not everybody.
That's an awful lot of people you are lumping in one category.

Americans take to many things for granted. God has blessed us to be the most blessed country in the WORLD. Remember that and use it daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!
