One of my friends keep calling and really never has anything to say she is boring on the one and never lets me talk

I Wish I Knew More Details
Like;Why is it they are boring
Is it that they always wanna Talk about themselfs
or whats going on in there Life
or perhaps just always wanna talk about what they wanna talk about
If it's something Like that
Then address that issue
but in a sensitive way
Like Can we Talk about something I wanna talk about
or just start doing that , tactfully changeing the subject
Or Maybe you are & she/he Just isn't a good responder
Then perhaps ya need to add to what your doing
If The friendships gonna be positive
be it a Sport or a Game Bored , Cards , crafts, something that you have in common That makes eachothers company a positive experience
Either that or maybe you outta be hanging w/ someone you have more common interest with :-/

Hmmmm...well, I KNOW I'm boring so I don't talk much. lol Anyway, I'm a highly trained listener.But I have had friends like that who go on and on about the most inane crap ever.I usually hate talking on the phone and everyone knows it but if my "boring" friend calls I simply don't answer the phone. On the occasion that I get "trapped" I usually tell her I gotta go somewhere. I know I should be more direct but she would really get her feelings hurt, she's very needy.

This really hits home. I know someone who is boring. Everytime he calls, I don't answer because he can stay on the phone for hours and not say anything of value to me or interesting. Good Luck!

It doesn't sound like she is really your friend. You can do a few things. You could make up excuses to not talk to her in the first place. You could not answer her phone call and not return her messages. You could be honest and tell her that you don't like talking to her because you don't share any common interests.

I don't think YOU would be a very good friend if you told her she was boring. Maybe tell her that you aren't in a talking mood, or try asking her interesting questions?

Exactly how you worded it-
"You're boring to talk to- You keep calling, but never really have anything to say, and you never let me talk, either."
You could also be doing something worthwhile and be half paying attention and say things like,
"Yeah"
"Totally"
"I agree"
(etc.)

Tell her how you feel she will understand if shes really you friend .Also try coming up with a topic ex. school, friends, what your doing on the weekend etc . Then she might have something to say. Hope this helps !!

talk 2 her i did it once but then she then started about something kinda useful. if that doesn't work then u gonna have 2 ignore her and talk 2 ur other friends! anyway gl!
