Well I'll tell you the pros and cons of using a remanufactured ink printer
pros: 1) cheaper 2) cheaper 3) cheaper
cons: 1) it has about 75-80% of the quality of a genuine ink
So think what you prefer: quality or price

Genuine ink carts are made by the printer maker (or authorized makers) and are guaranteed to work, and often claims to have the best ink formulation that potentially last 100 years (if printed on the right paper), such as HP ink carts.

Reman'ed ink carts are usually guaranteed to work by whoever reman'ed them, but use third-party ink that is NOT guaranteed to last, but are often quite a bit cheaper, usually 20% cheaper, but sometimes much more. They are made from discarded/recycled genuined carts, so in a way you are keeping the carts out of landfill, which is better for environment.
