nah, they were just a very dark, heavy, shock metal band. Ozzy is a pussycat even though he's referred to himself as "the bloody angel of darkness".

No, The Ozzman Cometh is the nicest guy you could ever meet, and if he was truly evil how come he always says "god bless you all" at his shows and his favorite band of all time is the Beatles, it's a misconception played out by the media.

This would depend on your definition of evil.
Did they make bad music - yes, then they were (if you think the music is bad)
Did they do 'evil deeds' (as in sacrificing babies, running over senior citizens on purpose) - No.

No - I mean, what do you mean by evil? They did not worship the devil..they did crazy theatrics back in the day for popularity and publicity, they did drugs and were crazy rock stars but they weren't "EVIL".

No, they're awesome, and if they're evil, high-five. According to the Catholic church, so are athiests, free-thinkers, heavy metal fans, druggies, techno musicians, and me.
So, no, they're not evil. Black Sabbath kicked ***, the only reason they called them evil is because the Christian church is a group of tight-assed child-rapists.
