You can use them with a spermicide cream or gel, they are available in the drugstore, that will help. Ask your doctor or your pharmacist.

Your 2 best bets for being safe, is
1. Condoms plus Birth Control for you (Pill, Patch, Injection, etc)
2. Abstinence
If you want to find out more of what you can do, go to: www.plannedparenthood.org and contact them of what else you can do.

Using a backup method will help you if a condom breaks, but it won't guarantee your safety. I think it's a good idea to double up! Condoms are only about 97% effective. There are many different kinds of protection available, depending on what you prefer to use.

Spermicidal cream.
Don't do double condoms, that will create friction and tear them both.
And remember, a woman can get pregnant ANY DAY of the month, including while she's on her period.

Safe from pregnancy ?
Safe from STDs ?
From pregnancy , get an IUD . . . people who use condoms are often called . . . parents !
From STDS , condoms help but limiting sex to a partner , where you both get tested is better .

Just because you try "doubling up" does not mean you will be safe. You could still become pregnant or catch a std, because only abstinence is 100%.
