Doubtful. More likely it is just another exmple of the lousy crap these manufacturers are selling. Making my own pet food now....

The fact that we import wheat gluten from China seems odd, when we usually export it. Could be someone there disgruntled because people in that country are starving (so China will respond by sending a village or two off to the organ harvesting prison camp), or maybe whoever put the rat poison on the wheat gluten between there and when it arrived in the Kansas and New Jersey Menu Foods plants didn't know it was destined for animals instead of humans? Although there is that certain group who hate dogs almost as much as they hate pigs, that have a sizeable population in the Pacific and work throughout the shipping industry. But I wouldn't call it a "dry run", although we got off relatively unscathed, it will only be a "valuable lesson" if anything is learned and policy or safety inspections/guidelines change. THIS is a real issue. I could care less about 8 stupid attorneys including Bush's AG. Everyone who can needs to grow, thoroughly wash and prepare as much of their own food as possible, because the situation is only going to get worse before it gets better. We are at war, people want to replace us and our laws and dominate the world, but at least then the war protestors can be happy that Americans die on our soil instead of foreign.

I doubt it was a terrorist attack, it was probably caused from unsanitary conditions. I am amazed that a substance is banned in the USA, but the USA will purchase from someone that is using it. And all the products made form the same source makes you wonder about their claims and high prices!
What about the spinach, and lettuce troubles recently, from
feral pigs droppings.
Also using sludge from human waste to fertilize crops,
feeding cows ground up cows.
The stuff we eat, shows how durable the human body can be.

I was thinking sort of the same thing since the poison wasn't that well known in the states. I heard it was used for rat poison in other countries and for cancer patients -but not in the US

It is a very unusual thing and considering the radical movement here in the US not totally out-of-the-question.
