First, the alligator in the photo in the link above is -NOT- a record alligator.
19 foot 2 was recorded in Louisiana by McIlhenny (Yes, the hot sauce guy), but wasn't measured in a controlled manner. Back then, you'd take your rifle and shoot the alligator in the back of the head while it was still underwater. This caused the barrel of your rifle to flare out over time, and he didn't keep track of how much of the end of his barrel he had sawn off since killing the gator, so he guessed.
Largest alligator recorded in Florida was 17 feet 5 inches and was captured in Apopka.
The alligator in the photo in the link above was 13 feet something or other.
The alligator in the link above that is hard to get an idea of, but doesn't appear to be a monster to me at all, definitely less than 12, though, and definitely -smaller- than the one with it's nose in the frame below and to the right, and so, NOT the biggest.
As for finding a photo of the Apopka 17 footer, I'm sure there are some around somewhere, but I'd be careful about believing too many of the "giant alligator" emails you get. Snopes.com is pretty good for finding out the truth on those.

The following is a picture of what is reported by the caption as Louisiana's largest gator.
The largest on record is 19' 2" and it was killed in Louisiana in the 1890's.
