yeah I do know Catholic women who have had abortions and I wouldn't call them hypocrites or any other name. it's probably one of the hardest decisions a woman has to make and she should be allowed to make that choice without being judged

Yes I am catholic...I had to have a abortion 10 yrs ago...it was awful..I had a large tumor, there was no way I or the baby would make it. It is a real sad memory for me. I will never forget it. But I am no hypocrite...and not all catholics think alike either. I am pro choice. I answered this for a reason..not all women who have abortions...wanted one. And as for other women who choose a abortion, it is not my place to judge..curious why do U think all catholics are so closed minded...religion is man made as far as I am concerned...and we have our own minds that God gave us..and thats if you believe in God..I don't judge people on that issue either.

Once a Catholic girl/woman comes to understand the gravity of the offense they have commited, and vow never to commit said sin again, they are no longer hypocrites.
Assuming you are scantly familiar with Christianity, have you learned nothing of the Parable of the Prodical Son?
The father's forgiveness of his son's sin - even at the scorn of others who cannot rationalize it, exemplifies God's willingness to forgive any of our sins regardless of any sin's gravity.
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.", says Jesus. That means He, and only He, is in a position to call anyone a hypocrite - because we're all sinners.
God will not condemn a woman for getting an abortion, so long as that woman comes to understand what she has done, and repents for having done it. Neither should you condemn.
By acting as if such woman are beyond redeption is to Bastardize the Passion of the Christ.

There are more hypocrites than can be determined with just that question.
It would also be hypocritical for more than just Catholics to have had an abortion. Many religious groups are against it.

You are an idiot.
Women who have abortions are victims themselves- they survive the opertation, though.
The hypocrites are the medical professionals who participate in abortions and then come to Mass and receive the Eucharist.
For Chola- you did not have an abortion. You had surgery to save your life, the death of your child was an unitended result. ANY WOMAN who has such surgery- as long as your doctor TRIES to save your child and you DO NOT WANT your child to die- you did not have an abortion. An abortion is the intentional selfish ending of a human life.
ABORTION IS NEVER RIGHT.
