That's pretty short sighted to ask for just one thing, what are all the things in your life that you appreciate?

True Friends

Almost everyone said friends and family, interesting. Although they are extremely valuable, I think the fact we are even alive in order to experience those feelings of closeness and love is more important. The fact someone created us...I dont know who or what, but I am given this earth, this air, this body, this brain to learn, to smell the most beautiful fragrances, to learn languages and cultures across the world, to invent things, to help those more unfortunate than I. I think changing a person's life, creating an artistic piece- whether it is a movie or writing a book or creating an idea that changes the way people live for future generations, that is amazing power. I cant appreciate it enough. And having the choice to do something with that power, if I so decide to.

The twinkle in his eye
The way he looks at me when I enter a room
The way my children always want a kiss when they go off even though they are 21 and 17
The outcomes of my Job
The relationships created in my life
Deep cold water on a hot summer day
OHHHHH BUMBLE BEES at the moment in the spring rambling about (I love that)
The owls hooting at night when I have my window open
The smell of Lemon balm
The smell of honey
Everything about the sweet rose called rambling rector that climbs the wall in my garden in early summer
Stinging Nettle Beer (its soooo lovely everyone should try it)
A real massage.
Memory's of people I haven't got any more.
All the working parts of my body

Right now, it's hard for me to see anything to really appreciate in life. I hope one day, to look back at this time in my life and appreciate the strength it has given me.

My fiance. He's the kind of guy every girl would want to marry. He's obviously tall, dark and handsome. And he's very attentive. He sends me flowers to work, he sends me messges all day long saying sweet things and expressing this love and how much he wants me. He takes great care of me, he's protective and stands by me and supports me no matter what. I appreciate him for who he is and for the happiness he's given me.

Free speech and liberty.
They're things we take for granted and I can't imagine living in a place where i couldn't have them.

On a more materialistic level, a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you're not in one, you're in the other.
