My favorites of the last few years have been Walk The Line, and Ray. Both were excellent portrayals of the life of a music legend.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 1 is the best movie in the world. the second POTC is the 2nd best movie in the world. From the looks of the trailer, the 3rd one will be up there too.
some other good ones are Lord of the rings, phantom of the opera, Flyboys, the Prestige, or anything with Johnny depp ;O)

Depends on what type of movies you are into. I liked Rocky Balboa, The Guardian, The Illusionist, to name a few.
