No...I am an empath. Others happiness fuels my happiness. It is in witnessing others joy, that I am most content...

I can honestly say i love to see other people happy the way i was brought up, and the values i was taught are second to none i know how to feel happy for others it is a beautiful thing to witness, i believe people who feel bitterness towards others happiness, that there is a sad deep rooted issue for them, and they need to deal with that, not begrudge others of their happiness.

It used to. I lost a kid, and a girlfriend, all in the same year. I basically hated people because they could be happy and I couldn't. I guess I'm over it now, I can look at happy people and not be bitter. And overall, I'm happy enough for me anyway.

No, it's kind of contagious. When I'm around people that are happy then I get happy or at least I feel better. Misery loves like company and so does happiness. That's why the two rarely mix, except for family of course. I'm by myself today (so far) but I'm feeling OK. Hope you are too. Have a good week-end.

Sometimes, sometimes not. I mean, if I'm not having a good day and everyone else is, that makes me more bitter. But sometimes others' happiness can fuel me into being happier.

Life is too short to waste being bitter, I would rejoice that someone else has found much deserved happiness..

No. Not at all. I think others are a little envious of my life sometimes. That sounds awful, but friends have always commented on how lucky I am. I have a great family, husband etc. However, it's not luck that got me here. It's a good self-esteem and good decision making.

It depends...If the source of their happiness if it is what is triggering your unhappiness, then yes it will probably turn you bitter towards that subject. Happiness however is contagious also, and if one person is happy they can very easily rubby the giddy go happy attitude of on you also!
