As you stated, sitting in front of the computer is bad news for low back sufferers. You could try a lumbar support pillow, they sell pretty cheap, probably 20-30bucks. You might need to take some Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation, that may be why you continue to suffer thirty days later. Try using heat to bring circulation to that area of your back, have someone give you a massage, the muscles may be tight and irritated as well. Do take care of your back on a regular basis, I've been with back issues for almost 20 yrs now. As people age, humans seem to get back/spine aches, pains and muscle strains, beginning now to take care of your back, will save you countless hours of pain and suffering later on. Good luck.

You are a young person, and this is a perfect time in your life to get with a professional who can get you sitting and moving correctly. You have a lot of years ahead of you, and it would be great for them to be as active and pain-free as possible.
A physical therapist can help you to relieve your current pain, and to get to the bottom of where it really comes from. The PT will develop a plan of exercises for you to strengthen your trunk, and will show you how to modify your environment to avoid excess stress on your back.
Go to APTA.org, click on "Find a PT", and search your home area.
Good luck!

You can use a small pillow to support your lower lumbar region. That helps.
