There are a few options.

First, you should try restarting the computer and go into safe mode. To do this you need to hit the "F8" key a bunch of times BEFORE the Windows XP logo pops up when you turn the computer on.

This will give you the option to boot into safe mode. Once you select it and go into windows, you will notice that it displays all the user accounts that you normally have PLUS an Administrator account.

By default, this Administrator account should not have a password on it. Select it and log in.

From there it will boot into windows, go to the control panel under "settings" on the start menu. Then go to user accounts. From there you should be able to clear the password on your profile.

If that does not work for you, you can bring the computer into a repair shop and they should be able to clear the password for you. Though it should cost at least 30-60 bucks.

Any more than that, and they are trying to rip you off.

As a last resort, you could do what was suggested earlier and just reinstall windows. But that would delete much of the information that you had saved on the computer.

You'll need to hack it and if you are asking here then you don't have the skills to do that successfully. Your only option if you really can't remember it and don't have an administrator password which you set up when you installed windows might be to reinstall windows. You can do this without destroying your data. If this is what you want to do just ask another question to the effect.
