As an elected Senator of the U.S. I will contend that he is an Honorable man. However, I wish that he would become a Republican; because as a Democrat he shows no support for or ability to understand the Democrat's Platform. Seemingly, he does not agree that the lack of oversight over the billions of dollars we send to Iraq for reconstruction concerns many Democrats. And that we want our Service Men and Women home safely ASAP.

Lieberman (rightly) catches a lot of flak for his unwavering support of Bush's wars and the Patriot Act. He is one of the best Democratic friends the Bush administration ever had.
Curiously, Hillary Clinton - whose voting record on these issues is nearly identical to Lieberman's - is not held to the same critical standard by her supporters.

He is a good politician. He acts as a democrat but, supports the war in Iraq. This is good that he supports the war b/c we must not pullout and let civil war and genocide erupt in Iraq. I don't know if he thinks we should create a settlement between Iraqi's like Obama does- this would create peace.

A clear-headed Independent. People worry that he will be too beholden to some foreign interests, but I think that we are already committed to those interests and should be.
His personal character is good. Unfortunately he is not more photogenic like Bush or Edwards, because he is a good guy.

he's just a politician who just wants to have a cushy public position. I think he's a flip flopper and although he is moderate, isn't good presidential material. He's really a fringe Republican. He is probably a true Liberal, but leans to the Right
