Can a marriage make it through??

Question

My hubby cheated on me 6 months into our marriage.I just found out recently.My hubby and i have never had any problems fighting or anything? We have sex 4-5 times a week?I still love him can a marriage survive infidelity this early on?We have only been married 2 yrs.

I feel like i dont know the man i married?He did not even say sorry only shruged when i tried to talk to him?

I think it can. Everyone makes mistakes, some bigger than others. I think you need to be open with each other and if love is there, you can certainly get through this.

If the cheating continues along with the lies, then I would say to hang them up.

This is a tough question. You recently found out, however it happened only 6 months into your marriage and you've been married 2 years. How did you find out and are you sure you can trust the source that told you? How do you think things have been going the past 2 years? Communication in a marriage is very, very important. You can't be afraid to bring up the tough topics and discuss them. He may not like confrontation, but try talking to him and explain to him how you are feeling. Try and keep it calm though....no yelling. You also have to think about how YOU are feeling. Since you've learned this, are you wondering where he may be when you're not together or who he may be with? Do you trust him? Living your life always wondering what he's doing when you're not together isn't healthy. Many marriages overcome infidelity....you just have to be prepared to do the work and to WANT to do it--both of you. Good Luck!

u have to sit with him and ask him y he did like that , what situation made him like that , otherwise he wants somthing from u so for all these questions u have to make him answer
in nice manner , if u like this person
tell him the marriage is not cheating on each other
if he wants u more he never do such things
or otherwise u have to take this issue with ur parents
or with his or urs whoever it may be very close ones
and observe him in all matters in ur best way.
this is ur life u have to choose the ways
any way u married him so make him u r servant
i.e all in ur hands
there r so many ways
and u know his weekness and strength

dont let him in on other ones , he is ur man

I personally think that a marriage can last even if someone cheated. It really all depends on if you can forgive him and if he is willing to either a) stop cheating on his own or b) go to counseling to help him stop and try to find out why he cheated in the first place. It's really all up to you two on if you want it to work or not.

Your gonna have more problems as the years progress. Get counseling and find out why he cheated. Find out whats at the root of the problem before making any decissions. I'd say yes It can make it but please address the problem of infidelity. It will save you years of heartache!

If all he did was shrug when confronted, that may be because it's not the first or last time it's happened. That's not too promising for the future. It sounds like you need counseling, and you might start checking on divorce lawyers.

Generic answer yes if you both agree to go to counseling and really work on your relationship, theres usually a reason for this even though you may not see it.

there has to be a reason why he cheated have you sat down and talked about why, i personally couldn't but its not saying you couldn't make it work. ask him to go to marriage guidance with you. good luck i hope you can make it through
