i had this problem once and i had someone come up to me and they also lied a lot and when it eventually got under my skin i reallized how much a pain it was to have someone lie to you so i eventually quit ...... so you may could explain it to her or swich the situation around and take something she did to you and tell it to her in a form of a story with her being you and just a friend being her..... hope this isn't confusing and that it is able to help....

Tell her that you do not know if she is aware, but a lot of things she says is not true, and that she needs to get help. and that if she lies about other things, then she may lie about you. Or may be you need to just get some new friends!

I would say..reassure your friend that you love her for who she is and there is no need for her to make up "stories" Sounds like she's not happy with her life and needs to create some excitement. Unless these are serious, spiteful lies then I would say that she needs to undrstand that you will not tolerate this form of disrespect.Good luck.

tell her that telling things that are not true puts herself in a tough spot she cannot ever produce because everything is a lie people try to build their self esteem by lying

Just tell her that you cannot be her friend because you cannot trust her or believe her.
