I found a web site called FastWeb.com and it's supposed to help you find the right scholarships, but it's asking me for my house address and it's required to put it there, but I'm not so sure if I should enter it. Does anyone know if it's safe? If not could you give me some advice about applying for scholaships? Thanks!!!

I've used fastweb before, it took me forever to put all my info into it and I felt like in the end it was colossal waste of my time to fill out. I didn't get any useful scholarship info from it.

These are the sites my college recommends:
Internet Scholarship Search
www.fastweb.com
www.scholarship-page.com
www.collegenet.com
www.hispanicfund.org
www.edupass.org

There are books available that have TONS of scholarships listed with their requirements-check your local library. That way you don't need to give any of your personal info to anyone that might abuse it.

Yahoo also has a Financial Aid Search page.

Good Luck to you!

seriously look at your high school guidance office instead. I got most of my scholarships through there or through the university/college financial aid office. They are pretty helpful with scholarships, bursaries and other awards. I have never heard of anyone getting scholarships through one of those websites.

Go for it. If you feel truly uncomfortable set up a ghost email and send everything there.
