I think this is a great area to post questions and get help anonymously. Divorce is very difficult, and just remember someone our there probably had similar experience and he/she can give you some good advice.

You have a whole world of people to talk to right here.

Accept that your parents have grown apart. Probably one of them outgrew the other emotionally or spiritually. Don't ask them to stay or get back together so you can pretend that everything is okay again. Be happy that they have had the courage to separate when they knew there was nothing left to stay for. Love each one of them and wish them joy in the rest of their journey in this life.

The fact that they no longer love one another doesn't change the fact that each of them loves you. They may not be the greatest at showing that love right now because one or both of them are bitter about the divorce. Be strong all by yourself. Find the things that make you happy all by yourself. Don't hold yourself responsible for their feelings and happiness.

You don't say how old you are, but if you're in school you can talk to your teacher or counselor. If you're in a church or club, you can talk to your minister or advisor. You shouldn't rule out talking to your parents, either, because they still want what's best for you. But please find someone, even if all they can do is listen.

I'm sure you have friends who's parents have separated.Talk to them about anything you have on your mind.Talk to your parents as well. They need to reassure you of a few things. If you are anything like I was growing up, most of my friend's folks were not together anymore. You'll get there.
