Why are Indians, especially abroad,generally, submissive to other people?

I'm indian.

It is just the culture and the way they were raised. I was in the middle east while in the military and about 90% of the women are submissive there. My wife is Indian and she is not submissive at all. But I have seen even Indian people here in the US are submissive to there husbands. It is just a culture thing.

I'm part Indian and I am definitely not submissive to other people. I pretty much speak my mind.
