Definitely. It's the efforts that count. Not every guys actually take the trouble to sing regardless how their voices will turn out and playing guitar is not easy when someone you like is paying attention on your singing.

because that shows they have talent and are ready to learn new things (new songs)
you should try to learn to play guitar
plus thats a way to get to know girls (like if they ask if you could teach them to play)
