It is a 2 horse with mangers. i was planning on taking the manger out of one side so he can put his head down. but leave the wall part up so he can go any farther. but i would like to put padding over the top of the wall part so he doesn't hurt himself. i can't find anything online about it. any ideas would be appreciated.

Check out this website. It has the pads premade and gives a diagram to install. I weould not take out the manager for safety reasons. If you horse had his head all the way down in it and you have you brake suddenly, then it could result in a serious injury. Good Luck!

You could try taking a hard back- maybe a piece of wood not more than 1/2 inch thick and "upholstering" some heavy-duty foam ( the thick, dense stuff) with and cover the foam with vinyl or something else really durable. Vinyl is nice because, not that expensive and easy to clean. As for getting it onto the wall, short of drilling holes and screwing it in you could try some sort of epoxy- it's a heck of a lot stronger than glue and it's permanent- like cement.

find big pieces of foam that people use for shipping and ducked tape it up! thats my only idea!
