CAREFULLY READ THIS EXTRACT FROM YOUR QUESTION ABOVE: (although I've had to correct one of your words to get the right meaning!)

"HE EVENTUALLY ACCEPTED WHAT HE WAS AND NOW HAS A HAPPY LIFE"

NOW READ IT AGAIN.

Now tell us all why YOU can't do the same ! ! !

I am entirely odd looking. Which can be handy in some ways so I'm not always completely unhappy about it. I think the cause is most likely being surrounded by critical people when I was young, so now I have a critical parent dominating my nurturing parent in my head lol. Any way Mr Bongo loves me and I him, so it's not like I have to parade my self for attraction. Mr bongo is a lesbian man by the way.

It's true that saying about beauty being in the eye of the beholder you know. So if this is about you then perhaps you are being harsh on your self.

I dont know that I'm 100% happy with my appearance.. But I'm at least 85% happy with it... but I dont think i'd bother changing anything except the occasional hair dye job... I have very thin lips.. but I dont want Angelina Jolee lips either LOL, and I'm just not personally a fan of Dr's and surgury (I dont mind if others are though)

What causes that? Perception of image & self image.. its statisticaly proven (by several studies) that pretty people get treated better than just average or ugly ones.. its just the nature of people...

low self esteem causes people to feel like that, cos they think there is no-one worse off than them.

sometimes i feel like i'm the ugliest person ever. Sometimes i feel a lot better. It's never 100% satisfaction however.

How about this answer: I don't care much about my appearance. Don't like me, don't look. That's my motto.
