Once it begins to orbit the sun will it then be considered a planit? The moon is larger than at least one planit in our solar system. If this happens what will it then be called?

Your a loon ! If the moon were losing orbit...it would surely end up in a non eliptical path...colliding with othe planets/the sun before you would have a chance to think of it as a planet...

T.T just because the moon falls out of orbit doesn't mean that it'll collide with a planet

no the moon is not larger than one of our planets of the solar system (if you're talking about pluto i mean, cause pluto hasn't been considered a planet for the past year)

the moon will not fall out of orbit unless earth's mass suddenly shrinks drastically, which i highly doubt.

i believe that if we lose your moon our whole ecosystem will fall apart because we rely on the moon for your tidal changes and what not..
