i know alot of people who think emo people are wierd in my school and i dont get why? im emo.

why dont u guys just have fun and live life going places and doing stuff besides being emo.

No way. People call me emo-even though i'm not....dress in a lot of black and all of a sudden they all think you're emo or sumtin. People are weird, emo's are not. An "emo" is a label, people don't understand things they aren't use to and dont try to, they're afraid of the unkown and judge emos as freaks, which they're not...and neither is anyone else.

What, are emos coming out of the woodwork? See what I mean? Attention seeking behavior. That's all being Emo is about.
That and moaning over a life that's probably better than they deserve.

I don't know any emo people so I don't know if they are weird. If they listen to emo music then they are real weird.

nooo....people at school just seem to label people. its not just emo people. for me. its preps. i absolutely hate them. and im sure you hate them too! annoying... and dramatic. well.. people just get freaked out. we hear things like you guys drink blood and worship the devil and you guys are druggies (i dont believe in any of that mumbo jumbo).. oh and cutting their wrists.. it makes people sorta freaked out.. i know not all emo people do it. i love the music. lol.. if people think you guys are weird, tell em off and tell em you guys dont do those kinds of things. and maybe theyll understand you guys better! :)

I think they are a bunch of little fakes. They talk all this non-conformist bull and talk about being themselves-not dressing or acting like everyone else. Yet they all dress the same-they all act the same, they all support big business yet they deny it or dont realize it (Hot Topic at the malls).
Its just a phase....they will outgrow it.
