One thing you should look at is your child's sugar intake especially anything with anytype of high fructose corn syrup in it (it's in Juices, fruit snacks, tons of stuff) if you find there is alot of that type of stuff in your child's diet, try replacing it with 100% juice products and fresh fruit. My 4 yr old was a WILD man at 3 and his hyper-activity drastically changed for the better when I cut down his sugar intake.

I bet you have a boy. i have two boys and two girls. everyone i know who has a son feels the same way. when i need a break and my children don't i always suggest hide and seek. they hide and i find them 10 min or so... later. Invite a friend over for the boy to play with is the only thing i can think of.

He is only three let him roam free as long as he can before he learns how much this world sucks. Just so you know a three year old isn't even close to being a adolescent.

let him play play play and play some more. I take my almosyt 3 year old to climb hills we live in a hilly neighborhood and that works.
