Hello, As per the D.C. Gov't webpage: "Collecting a fee upfront to secure a loan is an illegal practice." I was looking into exactly what you had described for a friend and found your posting then found this fraud alert and wanted to pass it along. Please take a look for yourself before sending any money! Did you get referred to this company because of a student loan? http://disr.dc.gov/disr/cwp/view,a,1300,q,627084,disrNav,|32821|.asp

Never heard of it, could be something new but I would stay away from anything that wants 6 months payments up front. To me it sounds like a scam and if you have the money for payments up front you don't need to borrow anything.

I have not heard about this company before. Yet the web site I was told is www.citylinefinancial.com I'm trying to research them myself because I'm considering a business loan.

Now I suggest we all work together to find out things about this company so no one gets scamed.

Please contact me.
