Every day for the next three years, put a dollar in an envelope, and when you see someone do something "nice" for someone else that they really didn't have to do, give them the envelope and say "I'm the dollar-a-day man. I saw what you just did. Here's a dollar just for being nice. I know it's only a dollar, but hey, it's free!"
Every day write down each new person's reaction. In 1000 days you'll have the manuscript for what would undoubtedly become a best-selling book, and you'll have a lot of new friends.

Instead of blowing it on one big thing, spread it out.
Use it for a tank of gas, new shirt, dinner with the girl, gift for your mother.
This way you'll be able to do more with your money and also have an opportunity to take care of someone else.

go to E-Trade.com and put it into a 3 month CD. Let it keep growing and then I would find a few extra dollars and go buy a book about investing. 10 years from now you will be very happy you went this route.
