I know this is a stupid question, but I've never been to a concert before and have no idea what to expect. I have seats at a John Mayer concert for my birthday but am unsure of how things work. I know they scan my ticket and I go in, but does anything happen in between? Am I expected to wander around until I stumble upon the correct row?

Again, sorry for the dumb questions but I really have no idea. :)

Your ticket has the row and seat number on it. If you're having trouble, there will be plenty of ushers there to help. Even the person taking your ticket can point you to the right section.
