yea i will be very pissed if i see the heart and soul of our team leave
but next year he will be making alot of money, 5.2 million
he failed his physical in new york (neck injury)
i would like to see Wilson stay in Denver but if he leaves, were all just gunna have to move on and i heard if we do trade him we will move DJ Williams to MLB, but it will be a big lose to our team

Money and the Salary Cap. Al Wilson is supposed to make $5.5 million this year. That is a decent percentage of the salary cap. Just because a player fails a physical doesn't mean that he can't play football. Sometimes, it's just that he's to high of a risk to get injured to justify his contract.

I read Wilson was due to make about $5 mil this year. I'd like to see them keep him but knows it is a cap thing.

well, he failed his physical with the NY Giants, which killed the trade they were exploring, so maybe that is an indication.
