yea i will be very pissed if i see the heart and soul of our team leave

but next year he will be making alot of money, 5.2 million

he failed his physical in new york (neck injury)

i would like to see Wilson stay in Denver but if he leaves, were all just gunna have to move on and i heard if we do trade him we will move DJ Williams to MLB, but it will be a big lose to our team

Money and the Salary Cap. Al Wilson is supposed to make $5.5 million this year. That is a decent percentage of the salary cap. Just because a player fails a physical doesn't mean that he can't play football. Sometimes, it's just that he's to high of a risk to get injured to justify his contract.

I read Wilson was due to make about $5 mil this year. I'd like to see them keep him but knows it is a cap thing.

they need cap room for the draft...Wilson cost too much money...

probably money reasons and that they probably have someone in mind to replace him. if he failed a physical, how much do you think is left in the tank?

well, he failed his physical with the NY Giants, which killed the trade they were exploring, so maybe that is an indication.
