I think that first dates should be fun but you need to send a signal that you are hoping for some romance.

Bobby Mcgees is Fun Cause the Waiters & Waitresses
Are in Caracature & Make it Very Fun

Black Angus Has Very Private Booths
& Acoustics Are Good Too
Easy to Hear your Conversations
& They Always Seem to Have Good Specials

Outback is the Best Buy for the Money
& Has a More Casual Atmosphere
& I Think Their Foods better than Black Angus

Claim Jumpers Impressive & Big Servings
But always Nice inside & well Kept up

Italian food and/or a small family owned pizza place are fun, casual, and romantic all at once. I really like your idea about Johnny Rockets! Go bowling, skating, or to a bookstore afterwards. Somewhere you can talk to each other. Save the movies for later in your relationship.

Hi....do you have any drive in type restaurants like Sonic where you live? (but not necessarily that one specifically). I just think it would be fun to sit in the car and listen to music (especially in this mp3 age) and talk over casual fun food. We don't have Sonic here but there is a drive in that still serves Root Beer in the glass mugs (A & W), YUM! Since spring is here, that sounds fun to me. I would just play the after "by ear" and see what each other feels like doing when you are done eating and talking....go with the moment. But most of all have fun!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure what restaraunts there are in St lois, but if you have the crab shack or Bahama breeze, those are always fun places to go, because it is a relaxed atmosphere.

I totally agree!! the melting pot is very different and fun. The cozy atmosphere is perfect. Cooking your own food also gives you something to do if you are kinda nervous and leads to fun conversation.I am hoping my husband takes me there this weekend. I love that place!!

go somewhere that is causal .maybe somewhere where you can sit outside. or try something new, like "Sushi" that can always make the evening fun.
for activities maybe an art museum or a good play. do something that you would both enjoy.

I don't know if you have an olive garden in your area. But that is a great place. If you like Italian you would love it.

Chinese resturaunts are rad
they can be kinda romantic if its not busy,
but fun if it is, cause you can be loud and make fun other people there
