Dear Pinko,
Behold Ogero's latest technology.
Yes, you do make a point. Why the hell do I have to dial my own area code?? What's the point???
I suggest they go for 7 digits #s and trim that leading Zero for alll area codes - cellular #s included.

I know how you feel, when we had to start putting a 9 in front off the numbers we woud get frustrated.
When useing a phone card to call lebanon is even more frustrating to dial so much more numbers

the other day I was trying too reach my best friend who lives in Beirut and would you believe that he forgot to tell me that there were changes going on with the telephone company so I had to contact somebody who knows my best friend to tell me if there were any changes and what would they be. boy was I surprised that I needed to place an additional number or two to the phone number.

Well, the whole new 70 numbers are bothering me.
I tried calling a friend in lebanon today, and i put +961 3 70 instead of +961 70; i added the 3 like most numbers in lebanon today. And this guy answered.
3adi, i was talking with him, asking him where he was, he said he was at work, i'm like how are you, he's like i'm fine, how are you, i said i'm great, i'm like how's work, he's like it's good, good. Then, he's like "who is this???" I'm like "what??? what are you talking about?? oh God stop playing this joke on me, it's not funny anymore!!" Then he's like "no i'm serious!! wait, shoo ismik?" i'm like "xxxxx" (haha! to webby) and he's like "oh it's you. well listen xxxxx, this is mohammad xxxxxx, not the mohammad you're searching for, you did a wrong number again, ya xxxxx" i'm like "ooooooh, sorry again!!!" it was like the third time i called him with the wrong number, and i just talked and talked and talked like nothing was the matter...
Oh well...... lol, nice little story there.
Sooo, to answer your question, yes it's annoying :D

No, I think it is better to divide different area code, and now they have a new one.
