I have had it out for over a year, and now I want to put it back in. I tryed putting an earring in just to see if the hole was closed, and it went through, but was a little uncomfortable taking it out. Is it okay to put a belly ring in? I'm hoping the hole will just stretch to it's normal size before I took out the ring.. Please help:)

it's totally fine to put your belly ring back in. the skin tissue is healed. the hole might've shrunk a bit, but it will stretch fairly easy again. use a bit of vaseline or neosporin on the ring when you put it in, to lubricate it. with soft tissue piercings such as belly buttons and ear lobes, you can take the jewelry out after about a year and the holes should still remain open. if it bleeds at all after you put the ring back in, keep it as dry as possible and use neosporin for a week or two.

You should leave the ring in at all times and treat it like it's new (soaking with hydrogen peroxide, lubing the ring with neosporin) until it feels healed. Then leave it in or get rid of it, but don't keep going back and forth.
