All of my friends say "oh my gosh! you sing so good! you shpuld try out for american idol!" i think i sing ok, but they think i'm awesome. i will go out and try for american idol, but if i get rejected, what do i do? Thanks!

Look for places in your town that have "open mic" night, and sing at them whenever possible. If you're good enough, word might get around and you might get discovered !

You should try american Idol. If you get rejected you just have to remember that a lot of really good singers don't make it onto the show. If american Idol doesn't work out for you, you should try open mic or something along the lines of that. Good luck!

American Idol tryouts are over for now. But next year I could tell you... LOL
If you have a good voice and go to high skool or college somewhere where there are partys and big events get up there on stage and make yourself and your voice the center of attention.

Just check out Idol's webpage, it gives all the answers you asked. If you don't make it, just enjoy the experience of the tryouts. I think it would be a blast. I stink at singing, but if I thought I was good, why not try? Btw...you and I are twins, check out the avatar!

You should have people that have never met you be critics. That way you can get an unbiased opinion. If you do try out for american idol and get rejected dont let it get to you.

WELL, AMERICAN IDOL ISN'T THE ONLY WAY BUT IT'S A GOOD VENUE. I SUGGEST SINGING AT ANY COMPETITIONS, TALENT SHOWS, AND OPEN MIC NIGHTS THAT YOU KNOW OF. THIS WILL GET YOU NAME OUT TO THE PUBLIC AND GET PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT YOU... HOPEFULLY IN A GOOD WAY =)'

try out for AI do a really good performance and you wont get rejected if you do its ok keep practicing and you will get better then go in front of a producer or a record company and it does not cost money to try out for AI
