He said "you can go cower in the corner and hide or you can be tough and go out there and stand up for what you believe in". Do you think he would win?

I love John Edwards and believe he's a great candidate. We have a long way to go, so it's early to decide. He and his wife are a pure class act. High school sweethearts and still happily married-you don't see that much anymore. He's been doing well in Iowa, hope we'll see him more in media.

I may not agree with his platform but do want to congratulate him for facing the situation and having courage to follow through. I have a sick mother and know what it is to go through it so I wish him the best of luck. I really think sooner or later he or Obama can absorbe most of the current Hillary voters and there could be hope for the Democrats so they can give her a run for her money. I may not agree with him, but you never wish your opponent bad luck (that's opportunist) and luckily the other contenders supported him. Thanks!

By staying in the race, Edwards is merely saying that he cares more about his own personal glory than spending every last minute he can with his life partner and the mother of his children. No way he wins anything after Americans look at this man and figure out just how cruel he's being to his own wife. He shoud hang his head in shame

He failed to mention that his wife's cancer is terminal. If it can't be cured it is considered terminal and it is only a matter of time (could be years) before she passes. I am a total conservative but my heart goes out to that family. May God watch over them and give them courage.

I do not think he can win his parties nomination. It is also my personal opinion that he or any other multi-millionaire that loves his wife and children, should quit whatever he is doing and spend the last few years of his wifes life making it as wonderful as he can.

Not a chance. He may get a sympathy vote now but it's a long way from the election.
