What should I do???
I know this is wrong of me but.. I've been with my girlfriend for 4 years.. I suspect she was cheating on me at one time but everything is alright now.. well, while me and my girl are off and on, I met this other girl who I like from college.. she wants to go out to dinner tonight.. problem is, me and my girlfriend aren't exactly broken up and i want to work out it with her.. whereas this other girl is just wanting to date.. i'm having a hard time choosing what to do. i know if i go out with this one girl, i risk getting caught... small town in California..
what should i do?

If you want to work it out with your girlfriend, you already know what you need to do. However, my guess is that you're young yet, as you are in college (I know not everyone in college is young, I'm nearly 34 and still in and know many people much older going but that's besides the point). Perhaps you need more of a 'break' from your girlfriend to do some exploring on your own...exploring life. Don't get tied down to one person too early in life because chances are you may come to regret it and regret her.

Dude your about to F**K up... just sit down and think about it for a second.. If you WANT to go on a date with this other chick, then things must not be exactly perfect with you and your girl!! It doesnt matter if at one point you suspected her of cheating.. you dont want to be like her do you? I think that if you are starting to be atracted to other girls, you need to sit down with your Girlfriend and tell her that mabe you guys need a break to see if ya'll are meant for each other.. THis will give her the opportunity to go on dates too!! ( You cant be mad about that if you go on a date with this other girl ) Bottom line is.. dont try and sneek it.. if you get caught your gonna look like an A$$ hole... if your up front and honest, you cant get into any trouble!!! good luck on that one!

Guess that depends on you. Getting caught is only something that can happen if you are doing something wrong. If you are in one of those relationships where you aren't allowed to be friends with the opposite sex then I would say stay home. If you want to work things out with your girl then I would say avoid dating other girls!

Trust is the main topic when you meet someone. You can explain that an old college friend is home and you want to hang out with them for the evening. If your "girl" asks who it is be honest, if it is only dinner out you have nothing to worry about, plus you will feel more relaxed by not "hiding" anything.

Can you see yourself without your girlfriend? if you can than that means that you don't really want to be with her, so you should go on a date with the new girl. Otherwise just work things out with your girl friend.

You can't have your cake and eat it too....at least not without risking the consquences. If you are serious about working things out with your girlfriend then you need to decline. If you are not, break up for good and move forward with this new woman. Neither one will respect you if they know they are the 'just in case' or 'backburner' girl...... and they always find out (even in the big cities).

dont hurt this new girl she does not know about your g/f so until you have ended it with your girlfriend then dont bring the new one in to set her up if you know the risk of getting caught and you need to decide if you want to really be with her and not this on and off thing so two wrongs dont make a right and there is a such thing as karma

After 4 years if you are still unsure about your relationship it's time to move on. Don't be a slime though, respect your old GF enough to be honest about your feelings. End things like a man and, if down the road you want her back, she won't resent you for cheating on her.

I think that if you want to see this other girl then you should tell ur GF
That way you aren't lieing to anyone. She will prolly be hurt but it will hurt less if your just honest for the get go.

Now if you want to work it out with your girlfriend, then stick with her, now you need to be honest with the other girl, and tell her that you are trying to work it out with your girlfriend. and that you are sorry that you can't go out on a date with her tonight!
